It’s Ashton Martin – Golden Child [EP]

New Sauce Alert! Rising new artist who goes by “It’s Ashton Martin” recently dropped off his latest EP “Golden Child” & this is definitely one of his best bodies of work to date. Ashton is his government. Martin stands for Motivating All Relevant To Inspire Nations. He grew up in Marianna, Florida. Raised around a variety of different genres from Gospel, Jazz, Blues, and of course Hip hop. Ashton Started taking his own career serious and full time in 2017. In 2019, Him and his manager, Ms.Dykieria Stevens, created Ashton Martin Entertainment (AME). The main goal of AME is to motivate and inspire others through quality music. AME is best known for the slogan Awake Motivate Inspire. He released his first album, “Solid’’, & hit the road on for his first international tour consisting of four countries over a three month period. The tour included featured performances at the notable MIDEM (France) and New Skool Rules (Netherlands) Music Festivals. At this time he was homeless the whole time & still he did this all independently off straight grind and connections. That’s what you call believing in your sauce! Ashton’s new project is definitely something to tap into. A lot of his struggles and highs in his career play a big part in his music.

Now, being in a better position, he’s in a winning state of mind and ready to launch. This is how he created Golden Child. It represents the special and chosen ones. Something he’s been told & I’ve been told as a child which is crazy. Also gold is well refined, it has to be put through fire, but it comes out as one of the most precious metals on earth. This 6 track EP really brings you into his world. He really has an old soul to be so young. The more you listen & get to know him, you gonna find out some things. This 6 song project is not only relatable but solid from beginning to end. He dropping sauce & giving us the story, Beautifully though! “On & On” & “What I been Thru” are just 2 joints on the EP that I just enjoy hearing. He’s said to have 2 EPs on the way with some key performances as he’s focused on bringing attention to his music getting into blogs, doing podcasts, appearances, and music videos this year. Ash & the AME camp is gearing up to release a lot more content around his music and hopes to continue to build his growing fan base. His sauce is Different! You can feel where he coming from!

He has a text message service that he use to keep my supporters updated on any releases, news, or performances. They can opt in by texting AME to 850-754-1956. OPT IN!!!!

S.M.N Tyrique Releases Latest Album “Throat Chakra”

Sauce Alert! It’s some new artists out here who really got some sauce with them. Rising artist S.M.N Tyrique coming from East Stroudsburg, PA recently dropped off his latest project “Throat Chakra” on all platforms & he got down on this. This whole project had me impressed. S.M.N Tyrique been taking rap seriously for 5 years now.. “Throat Chakra” is definitely something to tap into. He making a statement early that he can keep up & sauce just like these other artists but better. He just focused on the craft and the bag, nothing more, nothing less. This 12 track project really gone have you lit the whole time listening. This project is full of sauce & the samples that he used with & without drill beats was too fire! Everybody can’t do it with drill beats right, he did. He has a few videos along with another project in the mix to come & everything is getting done in a timely fashion. Tyrique already has multiple collabs with artists all over the U.S & the U.K just in the cut!

This project was definitely a step up from his last one “Different Breed”. Both of them showed his artist development & storytelling but with this one, he was just in his bag. S.M.N Tyrique is an artist that raps on drill beats & not a drill rapper. He just can do it very well but he went outside of that in this & you hear his sauce! He is ready to emerge and ready to deliver that heat. The tone was set from the beginning on this with “Me & Myself”. He talking that talk, giving you club bangers & that hip hop feel. “It’s Different” which is one of the joints on the project just happens to be my favorite & he also released the visuals for it. It’s out now! The title of the song speaks for itself. This time is different. He released both projects with little to no promo, just hard work and dedication. He’s said to have a bunch of music in the stash but he’s more focused on bringing attention to his music. So, expect to see & hear more from him soon. He’s opening up for New York’s own B-Lovee APRIL 24TH at the Reverb Night Club. He gone show out just how he did on this! Check It Out! That Sauce! Tap in on this. He delivered.

OT9 BENO – Fully Active 2 [Album]

I’m a little late on this but this project different. It had to hit the blog! Beno did his thing with this one! The WOO demon just dropped one of the the hardest projects this year! This whole joint is full of bangers. You can tell he put some work into this! Definitely one of New York’s hottest artists on the rise right now dropping that sauce & pressure at the same time. He just dropped his project recently “Fully Active” & the whole tape fire. Haven’t stopped listening to it, since I first heard it. Beno rawness & his catchy bars always on something. Beno is the next up for Brooklyn. He delivers nothing but heat & is a movie in real life not just online.

Beno work ethic this year has been crazy. He stepped his music all the way up. Beno is keeping the party lit at all times with his music. There definitely was some elevation with this project. Showing us he can make music as well as bangers. He proves that he’s the artist to reckon with with songs like “Boom”, “Mimi Part 2”, & his lowkey anthem “Side 2 Side”.. The visuals to that joint was wild. he got everybody rocking with his sauce. Beno putting the WOO on his back. The WOO run New York period & Beno is really an artist to watch with these heat seekers he keep dropping. Beno coming stronger & hungrier this time around. This was an unexpected fire! That pressure right here!

Zonouzi – Zoot [Album]

New Sauce Alert! Zonouzi just stepped his sauce all the way up with this new project. Zonouzi just recently dropped off his latest album “Zoot” which is straight sauce. He gets better & better with every track. Inspired to write music by Eminem & Persian rapper Hichkas, Zonouzi started rapping very early after moving to Atlanta from Tehran 1 year earlier. His music overall touches on reality, social issues, mental health, perspective but he also has songs where he talks about blowing your girlfriends brains out which I find crazy interesting! From full spit rap, to melodic hooks, Zonouzi released his first project “Therapy” in February 2019, but he revealed he plans on dropping another project before the end of 2019. His songs “Succa Phree.”, “Regular.”, and “Happy Eyes.” Received great response from fans, leaving them excited for more. This album just increased his sauce. I love what he did with this. Some of my favorite joints on this are “$tick” featuring Donny Bravo(another fire rising artist from the south), “Reflect”, “Zoot Interlude” & “Neva Had Sh*t”. Those joints have great replay value. Him & Donny Bravo is nice duo lowkey. Hope I see more from them two. Zonouzi definitely put some work into this, from the music & production being on point. This definitely gonna ride for the rest of the year. He saucing his way up. Album full of Sauce Though!

Marvia Lawrence – “READY” [ALBUM] (Stream Here!)

Hailing from Alton Illinois, Rapper & media personality Marvia Lawrence has plans on putting his name in the history books. Right next to other famous Alton natives like the legendary Jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, or more infamously the convicted assassin or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. one Lee Harvey Oswald.  His music is best described as reality rap and his lyrical content can be compared to few well known artist like T.I., Boosie Badass or Don Trip however his style is a blend of his early influences like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and more notably, local legends Roq & Caly Cal.
Lawrence formally knows as Scorpio partnered with Money Making Mitch Foster to form Venom in 2004.  By 2007 Venom was well on its way as one of the most respected underground rap label in the area.  The release of the A-Town Mixtape solidified their grip on the top spot in the city started to make noise outside of the area.  Lawrence (known as Scorpio at the time) took advantage of the buzz by dropping Touchdown Volumes 1 & 2 in 2008 and 2009 respectively.  At the height of his initial success Lawrence’s blossoming career and record label was derailed by legal complications that resulted in a short prison stint for the entertainer.  Since his release Lawrence has put out projects titled Planet X, Doom’s Day and Stay Real, but it wasn’t until his R&B collaborative album One Night in A-Town was released earlier this year that it was clear the artist formally known as Scorpio was back in the driver seat.  Known by his fans and haters alike as the King of Da A (KODA), Lawrence is just dropped his national debut studio album titled Ready at last night. The sauce had to tune it! The homie out here putting in work!!  The lead singles Hard Times & Game of Thrones are available on all platforms.  He saucing right now.

READY On Apple Music!

Abigail Jerri – Let’s Play

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Abigail Jerri is a vibrant young rising star who wasted no time starting her career as a performing artist, beginning to write and perform songs at the age of 4. By the time she was 14, she had started recording her original songs at a professional studio. Using a diverse group of artists such as Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith, Cindy Lauper, and Ciara as influences, Abigail has been prolific in her career of writing and performing.  She incorporates her other passions, such as gymnastics, in her performances on the stage.   In Pittsburgh, Abigail attended a performing arts high school, majoring in musical theater. She has been featured with Pittsburgh’s hip-hop artists on several songs in duets and as a background vocalist. She also has performed her original songs on many stages around Pittsburgh. While still in the Steel City, she released her first album, “Take a Chance”, and lives by those words. Subsequently, she released her single and one of her latest videos, “Bad Girl” which is one of my favs.  Abigail in her music aims to explore such concepts as the dichotomy of doing what one feels is right, verses doing what society “tells” one to do. She also writes about the struggles of life, dealing with them in a positive way; having good intentions and keeping true to ones character.  Among her many achievements, Pittsburgh Style & Glam LLC in 2018 bestowed upon Abigail its “Rising Star” award. After taking part in the Judy Stakee songwriting retreat in November of 2017, she decided to spend more time in Nashville. There, she has performed many shows, including an engagement at the legendary Exit/In. Abigail continues to grow in her artistry and create new music.  She has a good catalog as an artist & I love what she doing with her music. She saucing her way through the ranks… Give her your ears and you won’t be disappointed.

Harrdluck – Ghetto Gotti [Album]

This shit heavy right here! Harrdluck been going off for awhile proving why he one of hardest artists coming outta Jersey. I been listening to him especially since we from the same state. Actually linked up with Big Bro a few times. One of realest guys you’ll ever meet doing this shit. Nothing but good vibes. I love this project though. I don’t wanna say it too early but this might be a classic early. Definitely a top 5 album when we talking about independent artists. One thing that really sets him apart is that he is so raw with his shit. He can actually spit + talk shit. He got a jawn called “Where 2 Start” featuring Dave East and thats going crazy. The visuals is out now and like i said before, I think he went harder than Easton this song. East is my favorite artist right now.. I Know. Even tho that got the hood rocking my fav songs off the album are “Warrior”, “The Hood” featuring Uncle Murda which is the hood anthem & “The First”. Hardy talk real life shit. Too real at times & how he put it together + deliver make him a rare one. Great piece of work right here. You will enjoy this one. This been on repeat since it dropped. Stay with him on IG: [@Harrdluck] #SauceTalk
