M.I.S. Ron – Loyalty (Shot by KLO Vizionz)

Heavy on it! Damnn M.I.S. Ron. finally dropping this. I remember him posting a snippet of this not too long ago. He’s been on the sauce before & this is why. The real ones know he been doing his thing for awhile holding NY down as being an emerging artist! He really go crazy. At one point, I remember him dropping nothing but heat. Another rising artist coming out of New York & he fire! This this joint right here is something different! This song is refreshing in terms of NY Drill. Sheds a light on the fact that we can do something other than what everybody He was talking hot but keeping it sauced! I was gonna throw it on the blog as soon as it dropped but It’s been on repeat lol. One of my favorite new joints out right now. He really got his own sauce & you don’t see that a lot with young artists. He’s been on the radar & once again, he here. This That Sauce Right Here!

His voice & delivery always keep him in a league of his own. He always talking that talk, but he was keeping it too real on this. The title of the song speaks for itself. Loyalty. Everybody has their own definition of loyalty & another thing we do know everyone loyalty always get tested. This beat was crazy & how he came on it, just reminded us that he’s that same monster. Hope we see more of these joints in the culture & from him. Everybody is giving us what they think we want rather than just giving us music they feeling. M.I.S. Ron got the sauce & been a fan of him for a little over 2 years now. Glad he’s finally back stepping how he should be. Once he apply pressure, IT’S UP! Straight sauce as always right here! Tune in to this. From the trenches with it!

LET’S GO!! That sauce just different! New York rapper, Curly Savv, releases latest visuals for “BILLIE JEAN“,& the way he controlled this was just phenomenal. Still fresh off his latest project “GLOCKY SZN 2” featuring collaborations with some of the hottest new artists from the East Coast— Rah Swish, Quelly Woo, Dread Woo and Chicago’s finest G Herbo. He flipped Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” & turned this joint to a banger. Curly Savv is and will forever be one of the pioneers of drill music in Brooklyn! One of the only BK drill OGs dats still dropping heat. I’m rocking with the fact Curly Savv ran this beat at a walking pace. Curly’s effortless glide over bass-heavy drill beats is just not like anything you hear.

This definitely got to go viral on a mainstream level. Curly flow is unmatched! Curly always been that guy. His flow is creative & not the usual drill rap flow. If Curly talking hot, you know the track about to slap something serious. Curly Savv got his foot all the way on the gas with this one. Curly has now reached where he once fell from. Who knew a MJ sample would make a drill song sound so soulful. This man getting better each day. Curly’s too underrated fr. This run he is on proves he still got his sauce! He already flipped 50 cent’s “Candy Shop” & that was too crazy. It’s safe to say HE’S BACK! Curly in his bag right now. Keep being great. He snapped on this. The visuals was heavy! That sauce right here!

“ City Voices “ Live Performance By GEEDOT 🎙(OFFICIAL VIDEO)

New Sauce Alert! Rising Jersey artist Geedot really got the sauce. A little late to the party with this but I’m here! His talk is just different. Geedot was too heavy on this. Geedot is an emerging artist coming out of Orange, NJ & he dropped off this “City Voices” live performance not too long ago & he caught one on this, Facts! He started taking rap & the whole craft seriously around 2020 & been pushing ever since. He recently dropped the deluxe to his latest mixtape “4TWL” (4 Those Who Listen) & his project is definitely something to tap into. He got creative with this one in a good way but still came with pressure. His flow is just tough. That Juvenile took me back to when I was younger. He just focused on the craft and the bag right now. Geedot is gearing up to release a lot more content around his music & he’s performing soon.

After finding him on Instagram, it was a must we run through his catalog. He really fire! “4TWL” shows his development, bars & storytelling ability but the growth. The project is just a loose generalization of what’s happening in the trenches. With both of us coming from Jersey, I can understand a lot of what he saying! He talking that talk, & you feel it. This “City Voices” one of the coldest joints I’ve heard from him. His wordplay had me going especially after the skedaddle part. He released both projects with little to no promo, just hard work. He’s planning on dropping a new single “Gelato” very soon as he is focused on bringing attention to his music as well. So, expect to see & hear more from him. “Maybe A EP with a few songs. Don’t know yet, he said”Tune in! From the trenches with it! That Talk Different!

I-I Fetti – Boys In The Hood [Shot by @sodope__ty] #FreeTheArmy

Yup! You know the sauce here!! The homie I-I Fetti is just dropping nothing but sauce right now. He’s been kicking up this whole 2022 dropping back to back visuals & new songs. I’m just loving his passion & the work ethic for the craft. He been dropping nothing but fire. He out here doing what he want on beats. I’m loving it right now. This new joint “Boys In The Hood” been one of my favs for awhile. It’s been on all streaming platforms but just the visuals are here.. One of the hottest new artists on the rise coming out of New York & we gonna keep saying it. His flow is really crazy & he knows how to catch it, & just go. That sample was too hard as always!  One of the very few young new artists who elevates with his new music every time he drop.

He was talking real sturdy this! Fetti always talking his talk on tracks but he just step on this different. I love his beat picks. It make all his music seem effortless. I was gonna throw it on the here as soon as it dropped but I been playing it a lot like I do every joint. Like I always say, he really got his own sauce & you don’t see that a lot with young artists. Everybody too busy trying to be something they see. He’s proving he got that sauce with every joint he give us. Just waiting on more joints to see what’s in his creative bag. I-I Fetti really got his foot on the gas with all this heat he been dropping. Fetti 2022, WE HERE FOR IT. Tune in!

London’s Ultra_EKO drops double video ‘Yellow Brick Road’ & ‘Beginning Of The End’

London’s Ultra_eko might be one of the most diverse rappers coming out of the UK, and with his new double bill of videos, ‘Beginning Of The End’ and ‘Yellow Brick Road’ he proves why.

Within these two videos, he revels in his ability to hop between subgenres of hip hop. On ‘Yellow Brick Road’ he delivers insightful and aspirational lyrics, over a beat that samples the classic Mariah Carey song ‘Always Be My Baby’. Throughout, he lays down a range of psychological and mental health oriented content, which calls for a better tomorrow.

For the indie rock centric ‘Beginning Of The End’, he takes on a more high octane track, rapping his way over the existental and psychological battles many face in life. On the hook, Ultra_EKO shows his ability to both harmonize his vocals and drop meaningful content to keep the listener engaged as he provides an interval between chapters.

Both singles feel like a stepping stone that make up EKO’s diverse discography. The range of production styles and vocal techniques work in his favour, while his honest and frank insights provide a consistency which delves into his mindset.

Both of these pieces have elements that make them relatively difficult to properly categorize.

Volume needs to be blasted for both of these songs, offering a ‘wall of sound’ sort of spirit, that feels outright glorious to fully immerse oneself in.

Video: Soulful hip hop trio Captains of the Imagination talk feelings of isolation in ‘Never Felt So Alone’

Responding to feelings of social isolation and the double-edged sword of digital connectivity,  “Never Felt So Alone” is the third single from Captains Of The Imagination’s full EP Fingerprint available on all streaming platforms.

Straight outta Geneva, Switzerland, this trio combines rapping, singing, and musicianship with both distinctive lyrical content and their own vibe.

Taking a step in the direction of combating taboos around mental health, vocalists Imagine Dr Koul and Evita Koné lead by example by sharing their angst instead of bottling it up. French beatmaker Josra builds a sonic atmosphere built around vibrating basslines and strident synthesizers, backed by British violinist Julian Azkoul’s urgent bow strokes.

Musically, the song goes beyond its subject matter, as “Never Felt So Alone” is as catchy and danceable as its music video is stylish and entertaining.

Ultra_eko merges Balearic beats with a lyrical rap on “A Disconnect, Part One”

In his latest video Ultra_eko delivers an interesting blend and emotional cadence to the way that the song swings back and forth. The Croydon artist delivers a mix of optimism and defiance within the lyricism and his also delivery shares this ability to find a balance between the two competing feelings. This tension helps to define the track, to give it a greater sense of meaning.

Taking inspiration from Tyler, The Creator he keeps things unexpected by featuring some unusual twists and turns, purposefully disorientating listener expectations. The song’s buildup brings to mind the svelte electronic stylings of Flying Lotus, and the house elements bring to mind some of Kerri Chandler’s work, for it has that same sense of timelessness. Yet, for all these touchstones, Ultra_eko manages to sculpt his unique approach.

Look out for this on the forthcoming album ‘On Trial, Part Two’ out on June 3 2022.
