New Sauce Alert! Emerging artist MELLO OOWEE really got the sauce for this one. He just dropped off his latest visuals “GOATED” & this literally one of the hottest lowkey joints I’ve heard in awhile. MELLO OOWEE was born & raised in Chambers County of Lanett, Alabama. Like many other musicians Mello’s love for music began as a child. He spent time in the studio with mom dukes & made music for fun with his cousins. He also sang in the church choir growing up, & this is where he first discovered he can sing. I was scrolling on Instagram & got lost & found this & just was amazed. Mello got the sauce & he in his own lane. I ran it back like 20x lol & still bumping it. Easily one of my favorite new songs from the rising artist. His sauce really different. 

Music was always something Mello saw himself doing at a career level. However, he had to learn a lot before he could reach the point he at now! Believe it or not the young star started his career as a rapper in 2014 after meeting his manager and mentor Johnny. Since then He’s been able to find success in both his musical talents as well as the business side of the music industry. When it comes to music, Mello finds recording to be therapeutic. His lyrics are derived from life experience & he uses his voice to tell his story. His voice is pure, the way he tell his stories along with his voice is beautiful. Growing up, He dealt with many struggles & hardships from an early age. From seeing family & friends lose their lives to jail, getting involved with drug use, as well as attempting suicide at a point. It was a lot on him mentally and the depression had him but his story only made him STRONGER! I can definitely relate to some of the things he been through & speak on it.

MELLO OOWEE’S sound & style are very unique. His versatility as an artist made me a fan the first time I heard him. He raps, sings & can perform on any track Trap-Rap to melodic R&B. We over here love artists with beats who make them get vulnerable. The beat makes him feel what he speaks on in his lyrics. You can find metaphors, emotion, & life stories in all his joints. His latest project “DON’T DO ME BAD 2”, was released in September 2020 and is available on all streaming platforms.

MELLO OOWEE recently signed to AUTHENTIC EMPIRE MUSIC GROUP after winning their inaugural INDIEFEST INDEPENDENT ARTIST SHOWCASE back in JULY 2021. His first single with AUTHENTIC EMPIRE, “WHY” is also out now on all streaming platforms along with visuals. Mello has worked with Skooly, OMB Peezy & the legendary rapper Lil Flip thus far and is not limiting himself on future collaborations. His sound is compatible with many Genres & he’s definitely one of the most intriguing artists I’ve spoke on this year. Mello is working to become known as an artist who brings unmatched energy to every song he creates or appears on.
