Born in Kingston, Jamaica Upcoming artist Papalee moved to Philadelphia in 2010. He bought his first mic at the age of 14, & has been recording/learning how to mix ever since. With releasing low quality mixtapes on datpiff, inspired by the golden eras of Lil Wayne. He started officially releasing quality music on all platforms in 2017, where he dropped his first single “Coconut Crescent”. “Just a matter of time” his first official EP is a diverse body of work showing his versatility & showmanship. Papalee just dropped a new single “The World is a Place” which represents & gives the feel of tranquility. Showing top tier lyricism and vulnerability. Working on his second EP “Cubans” which is going to have a mafia type feel to it with cathedral sampled beats & more lyrics, punchlines, risk. It will be a lot more cohesive than his first project. “A Concept EP.” Basically. His new joint is straight sauce. Anxious to see what he brings to the game. That sauce right here
